Google Maps removed its navigation app from the watchOS App Store a few weeks ago, and no-one really noticed.
The watchOS Google Maps app was silently dropped a few weeks, according to a report by Apple Insider.
But despite the sudden disappearance, there was no uproar from Apple Watch owners.
Apple Insider speculates that most Apple Watch users were not the app, which explains why the removal went mostly unnoticed for so long.
Speaking with technology blog The Verge , a spokesperson for Google confirmed the US search company has ditched the watchOS app.
